EXHIBITS
This year’s Newton Open Studios is coming soon. My wife,
photographer Ellen Kaplovitz, and I, with artist Ellen Fisher, will
again exhibit at our home. We invite you to come experience
our art. Bring friends, family…. All are welcome.

Ellen Kaplovitz will show a selection of her photographs, including
portraits from many viewpoints. Ellen Fisher will show some of her
issue-focused, photography-based images. I’ll show a mix
of digital paintings, photographs, and short videos.
.
In addition to prints of new and earlier works, my exhibit will feature a
video of works created since last year’s NOS. The video will run on our TV,
whose big screen and high image quality provide an ideal way to experience
digital art — very different from on a phone, tablet, laptop, or monitor.
.
Within the video, among other new art, is a series of photographs
and short videos of Japan, titled Japan: A Journey Outside Time.
And among the prints will be an expanded version of
Trumpy Dumpty: The Decline and Fall of Public Enemy #1.

AND…
In addition to our exhibits, at 7:30PM, Friday, May 29, the evening
before NOS, we will host a gathering that will give insight into
artists’ processes and perspectives, and into art in today’s world.
